Assuming the suit is in state court, judgment creditors normally can't touch joint assets in Pennsylvania unless both spouses are included in the judgment. Also, in PA there is no wage garnishment to pay judgments.

They will most likely not set up a payment schedule right there
They will most likely not set up a payment schedule right there in court. Once they have a judgment, they need to enforce it. It is up to the Plaintiff to speak up and hold a payment hearing to enforce, not the court.
As far as your other question I can't find your states laws, you may want to give this attorney a call and see what he says.
