My car was repo'd when I was on disability,the crooks sold it at auction for 500.00 . now i owe 7k after paying 7k. do they have to sue me first or just garnish my paycheck, i cant file bankruptcy. thanks

I am on state disability and the reposessed my car while I was waiting for my check to come [I love ca furlow days] Do I have any standing? my truck is my lifeline, esp because of my health. thank you
