NCO is ignoring my bankruptcy filing

They have alreay received notice of my filing, I contacted them because they were scheduled to take a monthly payment out of my account, like they have been doing, so I called them and told them not to since I have filed bankruptcy. I have been given the run around twice already, telling me to call back and speak to someone else, or that person is not here. What can I do? I do not have an attorney. I realize it was a mistake to give them my banking info 6 months ago, but I want to be sure they won't be withdrawing any money.

Do as cellualr says, close that account and open a new one. Are you not using an attorney to file for BK? That could be the reason they are ignoring you. You need to provide evidence that you have indeed filed for BK.

Even with not using a bankruptcy attorney, they are in violation of the bankruptcy stay. Contact the bankruptcy court and CMRRR a copy of the BK stay to NCO informing them of their violations.
