i read your other thread and from what ROXY said.it is a payday loan, you have more than paid it off.also you did get e-mails out to these places.ROXY is right, these places will lie out of there backsides.bottom line you owe integrity nothing more.in fact you should get the 200.00 you overpaid refunded.

You would be surpised.. refunds are possible...not usually probable but it has happened. It does not hurt to ask for a refund. I know Shazzers posted a link to a letter for you to use. Be sure to email that to them repeatedly. Each time they contact you...email them your letter. Keep telling them the same thing over and over. The most importnat thing is what PAUL posted....do not let them get anymore $$ from you!

I'm scared to deal with them. I don't know why. My husband and I have always kept some seperate finances. He doesn't know about this situation and I absolutely cannot tell him. I might tell him after it is settled. Maybe not. OK....here goes nothing. I'm going to send them a letter too. ANy advice on how I should word the part about I am only obligated to pay the 400 and actually I would settle for just a pif and not worry about the refund at this point. That would help a lot.

After finding out that internet payday loans are illegal, your company should actually not issue loans to Kentucky residents at all. I have contacted the Kentucky Office of Financial Institutions regarding internet payday loans and was informed they are indeed illegal in Kentucky and was advised to pay what is due according to Kentucky state law. I have currently paid $000.00on my $350.00 loan through Payday Loan Yes. The legal amount that could have been charged to my loan is the principal amount of $350.00 plus $62.75 finance charge which would bring the total amount owed to $412.95 - if internet payday loans were even legal in Kentucky. As of your debit amounts from my bank account, I have OVERPAID my loan by $112.05. I am demanding that my loan be marked as PAID IN FULL and all further collection efforts - including telephone calls & debits from my bank account - be stopped. I also demand that any contact be made through US Postal mail or email only. I will need everything in writing to keep accurate records in the event that I need to file a formal complaint. I prohibit you or your affiliates to contact me via telephone at my place of employment or my home and cellular telephone numbers. I also prohibit you from calling my references listed on my loan. As part of the Fair Debt Practice Collection Act, once I inform you of this, you must stop the telephone contact immediately or you will be once again breaking the laws of the state of Kentucky. You are also hereby notified that I am revoking any voluntary wage assignment I may or may not have signed. I no longer authorize you, your company, or your affiliates to attach any part of my wages or contact my employer for your collection purposes. I am revoking your right to debit my checking account any longer. You, your company, or your affiliates are not authorized to debit my checking account at all. Please be aware that I have informed my financial institution of this situation and they will also be receiving a copy of this correspondence. Any further attempts at debiting my account will be rejected by my financial institution. If the above demands are not met, I will have no other option than to file a formal complaint with the state of Kentucky Attorney General as well as the office of Kentucky Financial Regulation. I expect a response from your company no later than ( ), regarding this matter or I will have no choice but to file the complaints. This response may only come via US Postal mail or email. No telephone contact is permitted. As long as my loan is marked with PAID IN FULL, I will not file a complaint with the above mentioned parties. |
Just change the dates, amounts and company name to reflect who you are dealing with. This is from my letter.

Do not be scared to deal with them. You have to or it will never end..and as you go through this, it does get better. I know how hard it is to do this on your own and keep this seceret, especially when so much of this is overwhelming. I started with 9 pdl's and have been free for over a year. It is because of everyone who helped me here. This can be done and you can get through this.

Thanks ROxy. COuld you help me determine the amount I should include as allowable interest? My original loan was for $400. I started it in October 2008. Thanks for the pep talk. I've had a rough couple of days ....Christmas is a rough time of year for me. My mom died this time of year and no matter how hard I try, it still affects me. However, I"m starting to see the light...

Susan, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom...this is a great website with a lot of wonderful people...if you ever need to vent, feel free. Everyone here has been through something similar.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, believe me it will get better.

Susan, I am so sorry about your mom. Ditto what Dawns said.. anytime you need a pick me up..let us know. Everyone here has been through your situation or something similar....so we do know what you are going through. As for the calculation...
I used the KY state law and calculated 17.65 per 100.00 borrowed which would leave you with 400 borrowed, 70.60 in interest....470.60 total.
Hang in there...I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel and although it feels like it sometimes...it is not a train!
I just sent them the letter....keep your fingers crossed.

I also dealt with Integrity Advance. I simply called them and told them that I already overpaid them and I am refusing to pay anything else. They yelled at me on the phone, they threatened me but in the end they didn't do nothing.
I e-mailed and faxed them the CD letter and haven;'t heard from them at all.
When I try to log in to my account it says the application has been retrieved.
So hold on in there! You will get out of this
