I CANNOT tell you how valuable I am finding this forum to be!! Thank you to everyone!! I just came out here today, I went to a debit counselor today who told me to close my checking account...that really scared me. But, I think I am now following the logic after reading here. Here is my info...please advise on how to proceed:

3b Financial - Internet - Loan $600 - Paid $1080 in fees & $585 in principal

Thank you so much....I just want to make sure I say the right things to them.
1. I verify that they are an illegal PDL in my state
2. I verify that I have paid the loan in full...at least all prinicipal (I don't expect to EVER get a refund on all the intrest I have already paid!!)
3. I tell them I have verified they are illeagal and I want my account to show PIF
4. Send the above info in a letter/email
Is that correct???
