Charge-off but bank taken over

If it was a recent charge off then it is possible that Chase pic
If it was a recent charge off then it is possible that Chase picked it up in the sale. If that is the case, I would expect collection efforts from a CA on behalf of Chase.

I had ckecking account with Chase back in 07, A balance was outstanding.
I haven't heard anythhing from chase since.
but, when chase brought wamu, inwhich i had a
checking and saving account with.
Chase without any notification, exactly five days after their systems switched to chase's system, they wiped my checking
account clean, leaving me $0 in my account. They also
took $800 out of my savings leaving $0
The next day my direct deposit was to go into my account.
They took all of my paycheck. and listed on my statement as
transferred to a different account.
say whaaaat?
All customer service told me is that they have a right to take my money without any type of court order.
i find this hard to believe.
Can anyone, give any advise on this.
