Hi everyone. I received a payday loan from Fastmoney and basically owe them 180.00 towards the principle. I know I owe them that much but they want all the fees and everything else. I've sent them several letters via e-mail and they keep responding with an e-mail similiar to this. I am going to post it below.

In reference to your e-mail inquiry;

Quote:
We are very much aware of the laws and our rights, we are not located in
that State, however, you received a loan from us, that you accepted with the
obligations and terms to pay back our loan, that you need to pay back as
agreed in our contract. We do not defer payments, you must meet your
obligations. Please feel free to contact whom ever you would like. Any
further information call our Customer Service Depar tment at 1-800-550-6051,
or log onto our web site at PayDay-Loan-Yes.com .

You would not have received a loan, if we were not permitted. You need to own up to your obligations and re-pay the money that you took from this company. We will retrieve all funds due this company from you, as you agreed.

Have A Wonderful Day,
Thank you for choosing Payday Loan Yes

Could you please guide me on how I should continue this? I live in Texas and from what I understand, Fastmoney 911 is not legal to distribute the money in this state. Yes my bank account is closed and such. I"m trying to settle these loans and this is the first one to email me back. I like how she said, "You need to own up". I am owning up to the principle amount haha.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Found this from Gouda2424 and send them a certified/return receipt TYPED letter telling them to Cease and Desist (you can find sample letters on this website for that). Emails normally do not hold up in court (or it is a gray area) so don't deal with them and I would also block them from sending me any more emails. ONLY DEAL WITH THEM IN WRITING thru the United States Postal Service.
Check out the fdcpa and other postings on here if you live in TX they must be bonded to collect in TX.
Here is address I found and I also posted under another post my own letter I sent to the scum that are trying to get an illegally obtained debt (which is not my debt) out of me.
Good luck.

It won't let me post links since I am "guest" status I guess but look under this subject in this forum:
