I logged on to both their websites and my loan status on both was PIF, one on the 6th one on the 7th. This is the ONLY sort of response i've gotten from them. no email, no letters nothin. Is this one of there tricks so they can debit my account when i'm least expecting it? I'm still holding out for a refund. i've even thought about asking for the previous loans i've had with them!  just kidding!
They can't call me since I switched to using my magicjack and didn't give them my new number. Same with my refrences

it is up to you whether you want refunds or not.congrats on the PIF'S those two are tough to deal with.on a different note is the magicjack all it's cracked up to be?been looking into it myself.

Congratulations......
I have a current loan with Ameriloan that I am trying to get PIF with possible refund. When I checked their website yesterday my account status was active but today it was in "collections" with no next due date. It also said the account needs immediate attention. What does this mean?

It can be depending on your computer/ internet connection. My computer is 5+ years old, put together by my Uncle who loves ductape, with roadrunner lite internet connection. i've got not alot of ram either 256? i think whatever that means.

on my computer when it's sleeping it may take 12 seconds to realize i've picked up the handset. but no prob with ringing through to me.
upsides of magic jack i've found:
Can use cordless phones, really is only 20 a year, inculdes caller id, call waiting, voice mail and other goodies, no one can tell i'm not on a landline. If your creative enough you can hook up several phones to 1 line. you can pay for more than 1 year at a time and get it cheaper. If your freinds live in the same area code as you there callt to you are local/free for them.
downfalls:
their still getting in area codes for all the states, we JUST got ours in MT, till then I used WA where a bulk of my family lives.
Can still be buggy like i've had to hang up and redial to have it go through before, rarely happens though. it takes a second for call to connect after i answer the phone(could be my model T computer though). Some people say customer service is non existant but i've found them quite helpful.
and does not work on dialup (but my cable internet is just 19.95).

To finish I really love mine so much I got Mom one to, and no I din't sell them.

I'm not really sure divaesque They never had that on mine. I really hammered them with MT law though. Mine for some time said nothing as in no amount due no due date. That was after my 1st letter. Since the've never responded they got the same letter by email 3x, by fax 2x, by certified mail, by certified email 3x to both customer service and compliance department, and both there contact us spot on there home pages 2x and the same in the account section 2x. I also called there ACH processor companys and reported to them I HAD revoked debit Authoization but they were purposely avoiding replying to them. They even went so far as to open, read, and forward a certified email and then I mysteriously got it sent back 3 days later as undelivered, looking nothing like anything i'd ever got returned before. DUH! I informed the ACH processors I had recorded proof of this.
I then went and emailed a summary of this conversation to both the pdl companys.

In otherwords you may have to get really tough and as intimidating as they try to do to us.

hi judy.first have you had anything debited by ameriloan yet?this is a most illegal pdl that you are only obligated to pay the principle borrowed.how many if any 90.00 debits have they taken?also they want to keep debited the 90.00 forever.they are not answering because they don't want to take the full amount and keep debiting the 90.00.
