Hello, you may remember I had a problem with my HSBC mastercard. Er solutions was contacting me tbut never validated the debt. HSBC wouldn't respond to my calls but still bill me.
It was a sticky sitatuion and I didn't know what to do. My mother got a call today for me from a place called IRPM. They said they sent me a letter on Dec 23 (they got my phone number wrong but had the right address). I did not recieve this letter but i'm a bit concerned I might have thrown it away. Either way, I called them back at her peristance (i dont even live there! she told them - mistakenly - that I paid and she doesnt want them to call her, which i do not blame her for). I called them back and asked why i didnt get it in writing. he said it was sent out and I said I need it to be validated. he played the oh, what is that? and i said i will be sending something certified. Now i'm almost in tears. i cannot take any more money problems right now! seriously.. my car is in the shop, my whole check went to rent. i cannot take it.
but anyway, how can i find this address? did i handle this right? will sending the validation and c/d letters be okay? i just need advice and reasurance, i suppose.

do you have a phone#?i searched IRPM and it doesn't show any CA'S.just insurance sites.a phone#can help me get an address for you.yes once we get the address send those letters asap.another bottomfeeder to deal with.we can help you with this.it will be okay beals2.i doubt they sent you anything.typical bottomfeeder speak.

thank you so much, paul! it just drives me crazy because I thought these days were behind me. I always knew id have to deal with HSBC but they kept putting me off and I kept spending my money on other areas I needed to work on. their number is 1-866-212-7408 after a quick search i did on google, their name might be RPM not IRPM. what makes me uneasy is that they called my moms number - alot of places call that number, i dont know why since i havent lived at home in years! but maybe since i do not have a landline? either way, i'd feel better if they stopped calling her. my search showed that these guys will be a handfull

ok, now i am freaking out! once i realized that their name was RPM i found info on them.. an old thread here showed they are part of LVNV funding. this scares me because i know LVNV is pure evil. are they goign to try to take legal action on me? They still have to validate.. i have no idea if they will validate..
but i want to send that all out asap!

more digging up gave me this info.. i never recieved the letter so i dont know who to send the dv to :( i got this info. i cant send certified to a PO box, is that correct? i just want to get this in the right time frame..

technically you can send DV and C&D letters to P.O boxes.if you can i would send the CMRRR letters to both addresses.

thanks, i feel better :) just a little freak out lol. i love this board! thanks so much for all your help, paul!
I sent out the letters to both places and will let you know what happens. i guess thats all i can do? i also showed my mom how to block her number. i told them i didn't live there but I know it won't stop them.

Hello, everything is sent out but I am a bit uneasy about this still. It is a weird situation, HSBC was still billing me, I think they still might be billing me actually. It reminds me so much of ER Solutions (who vanished when i asked to validate my debt). I guess all i can do is wait it out at this point?

another update: i finally got something in writing stating that i owe money, etc. again, this was the bill that nobody wanted to validate or answer questions on, i have no idea if these people even own this debt :(
since i never got the little green card back, i resent out the dv and cd letters. i'm not messing with them, especially after reading up on their reputation!

no updates yet, i didn't hear from them.. i realized why i never got the green card, my sister took it in to the post office and "saved me money" by getting internet tracking instead of the green card. great, i printed out the webpage that says they received it and when but should i resend it?
i am really kind of worried about this. as some may remember i was in collections with ER Solutions for this (never validated) but at the same time HSBC was sending me statements and refusing to talk to me because they directed me to nelson watson (who never ever validated! i do not give a cent to someone who does not validate, i have learned that here!)
should i just wait it out with these people? i am a little concerned that HSBC will sue me. the truth is i do not even have the money to really settle now. so i just wait it out for them to validate and buy my time (and come up with some money to save?) ugh i hate debt, i am almost debt free but something like this always seems to come up unplanned!!
(by the way I have not received anything from HSBC in awhile so i do not know if they still have me this time they sometimes seem to reappear..)

as far as the recepit goes you can go the PO and get a copy.i would wait.if they got the letter chances are they can't validate and will move it along.

since you sent proper validation.they went away...for now.remember, and i don't want you to get panicky, but LVNV is an octopus with many tentacles.be on you guard.because another D/B/A of there's might contact you in the future.until then know we can and will help you when that happens.

thanks again so much :) i knew it was not forever, i guess i am kind of relieved that they went away, even for a little bit, at least! but if they validated i really would have worked something out.. this is just a shady situation as hsbc was sending me bills and having collectors after me at the same time! they stopped with the bills but i guess my main fear is that they will sue me without contacting me or letting me send a validation letter outside of the courts :(

i keep worrying about these jerks, lol. i looked into old threads and one said they collect for LVNV which freaks me out. i sent d & v as well as c & d letters, and am a little freaked out that i will get sued sometime in the near future. :(
i keep checking my mail and i did not recieve anything from them.. do you think they will just pass it to someone else or will i just get sued??
