i have 3 payday loans. i applied and got approved in may 2008. its going to be a year since i made a payment. i called one of them topday and she said it was sold to a collection agency in sept 2008. what should i do? i live in MA. do they have a right to garnish my wages?

ETA: They can not garnish yuor wages unless they take you to civil court and get a garnishment judgement against you.

Are these internet PDL's? If they are, you might want to check to see if PDL's are legal in your state and check to see if they are licensed to lend in your state. Also have you received anything form a collection company in regards to these?
