pay or not pay

i recently gave out my account number 2 a debt collector for a 1 time payment after negotiating to about 40% of what was owed and am a little uncomfortable. any advice?

Get it in writing if you haven't already.

exactly jack.nothing in writing.no payment,and not by check by phone either.
