For anyone who needs info on mypaydayloan.com - although the loan documents state that they are in Costa Rica - this may be a loophole they are trying to use to get out of falling under U.S. state laws. We had to send them funds via Moneygram yesterday when we paid the principal still owed. When I was sending them I asked the teller to give me information on the receiver. The funds went to Strategic Funding, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Aside from that, they have been for the most part, helpful. When I informed them account was closed and asked how much to pay account in full, they informed me of exactly the amount of principal outstanding and didnt even mention the fees. I sent that, and got a paid in full from them this morning.

I'm very happy to hear about this. Congrats, you're on your way! It's not unusual for unlicensed overseas pdl companies to have a base office located in the states, but that still doesn't make them legal lenders. I will make a note of this in my files. :)
