The CA just doesn't have to suspend collection activity while they do validate it. Yes this might include filing suit.
The guest is correct on that last point, however, in that if they do sue you, you can and should request validation during discovery.
i have sent a debt validation letter after 30 days and they ende
i have sent a debt validation letter after 30 days and they ended up selling me off to someone else. i am not saying thats how it always goes but it did for me.
i would sent it anyway, see what happens, you never know.
