Mann Bracken arbitration

Hello, I had got a letter in the mail from mann bracken. It was an arbitration letter. I live in pa and this account was from chase.
I owe $10,000 and they said they would settle for for 75% of that amount. Anywho, I am working a lawyer doing bankruptcy and he said not to worry about it and do nothing. If they get a judgment against me then that would be entered in the bankruptcy.
I am a little nervous and kind of don't like the idea of doing nothing. I don't want to have my wages garnished.
Any ideas or opinions? Thank you
