i have payday loans, a cash net 1500, usfast cash 500, 500fast cash 500, ameriloan 300, little loan shoppe 750. I just defaulted yesterday. I called longhorn but it is going to take me time to get the first payment to them. Are these places going to harasss MY PERSONAL CONTACTS IF I DO NOT TALK TO THEM? That scares me . I started this mess a long time ago. I would pay them off and then hit the reactivate button, even after I lost my job they never verified I still was working Really scared.

first of all 500fastcash and loan shop are not licensed in WI. Not sure about the others. But in WI if you answered an e-mail and got the loans they are not legal, but if you went searching for the loans then you have to go by the laws of the state they ARE licensed in IF they are licensed at all.

You can take care of these on your own if you want to. You can save money instead of paying someone else. Just contact WI department of financial institutions (DFI) and they will help you with the illegal lenders. You can do a search for the lenders you have loans with and see what others did to take care of them.

I settled with 500fastcash myself and for alot less than they wanted. I did still owe them but not alot.

little loan shoppe 500.00 I paid 350.00
cash net usa 1500.00 I paid 672.00
Most of this is just fees of course little loan shop I can not even get any history on line and says I have a payment due 2/13/2009 this is really wacked dont know what is going on

any advise ? thanks
