I have posted my situation here a while back and gotten some good advice. However, I am still having issues with these 3. Orignally, I had 5 out. I sent the laws for Indiana along with cease and desist letters to all 5. None of the 5 were legal in Indiana. Outback Bucks and One Click Cash have stopped contacting me, but refuse to provide me with a breakdown of the charges or set up any payment arrangements. Loan Point and ameriloan are still calling SEVERAL times a day, threatening to take me to court and/or prosecute me, and Nationwide Cash somehow got a hold of my new account number and debited my account. I got the charges reversed and have closed that account as well, but now the phone calls have started again. How do I get these people to leave me alone. I will happily pay whatever I owe to each (I have paid Ameriloan and Loan Point more that 2X what I owed them just in the payments I made before I closed the orginial account), but I want to send them payments via USPS. What should I do now to stop this insanity?

julie, have you filed any complaints yet with the BBB, your state AG, and the FTC? Sometimes being contacted by the BBB helps these companies respond if they don't respond to you. However, the illegal companies may not even respond to the BBB. Have you done any complaints yet at all? Or just sent the pdls cease & desist letters? I know for a fact the flat out illegal as all hell ones will keep calling you no matter what you send them telling them to stop calling.

Hiya cannr!! :)

It may be worth having your phone number changed, I know that's a pain but there really isn't any other way to completely stop the harassing phone calls. Most phone companies will allow you to change your number one time without a fee if you explain that you are receiving harassing/threatening calls.

Don't give up!
I am having a problem with the same 3 companies. Surprisingly I haven't received any phone calls from them (probably because I have overpaid them at least 2X over) but Ameriloan did try to put through a paper check for $500.00. I have filed complaints with everyone and am now just waiting. Just remember to following the great advice you receive here.

I amalso having problemswit LoanPoint, aka Geneva Rotgh, GRC Venture, I have paid them $720in fees for a $300 loan. I stopped ACH aafter they tried several times under different names and tricks to collect. The last time that they got thru the Bank refunded me the $490 they were trying to get out. Now I am getting phone call on my cell (they get the answering machine at home and they hang up) but now after I answere the cell and found out who they were I now saved their name and whenever they call I see who it is and I don't asnwer, I notified them by USPS that I was stopping the achs', also the AG, BBB in Florida. They know that I have overpaid and they owed me a refund!,. they are threatening me now with fraud and that they are going to file papers with the Sheriff's office. Can they do this? Should I ignored this threats? Can they be suit? Thanks

I have a pdl with Loan Point USA - it's with Centurion. I stopped the ACH - changed my bank account, filed with the BBB and AL AG. I haven't heard anything from the yet - but that was just two weeks ago. I too paid WAY over the principal plus loan fee PLUS one rollover that AL allows. I'm sure I'll be contacted....just don't know when.
