I am hoping I can get some help on this forum. Like many others on the forum have said, I also got myself into a very difficult situation and I hate myself for it. One PDL led to another, and now I have 6 that I can't pay and they are making my life a living hell. I followed advice on the forum and had my bank put ACH stops on them but they keep trying to debit my account every other Friday and now I am overdrawn so bad and my own money isn't available to me because their ACH attempts keep holding up the funds. I also mailed AND faxed each of them a letter, revoking the ACH permissions, but they continue to do it anyway. They've been trying this for 2 months now. Are any of them illegal? Is there anything I can do to reduce or eliminate the debt? Why can they continue to attempt to ACH debit my account when I told them in writing NOT to? I owe to the following PDL lenders:
Cashnet USA $800
MyLoans USA $650
Integrity $500
Little Loan Shoppe $300
Payday One $500
Payday Services $500

I hope someone can help, thanks.

If you put a stop payment on them, I'd be talking to the branch manager today as soon as they open, not the clerks or the person who answers the phone. Rarely can they do anything. They shouldn't be charging you over draft fees.

I'm actually working w/ a lawyer on suing my old credit union. They refused to close my account when asked, or accept the ach revocation that I had on the payday lenders, even though I did this well before the three day time period mentioned.

Did you give the bank a copy of the Ach revocation? As someone mentioned Cashnetusa & Payday One are legal lenders, you'll have to make payment arrangements with Cashnetusa/payday one,
