Settlement alone won't restore your credit. There are credit repair companies that can help out there; and on that note if these companies you talked to have an affiliation w/ a credit repair firm, go for it - you're entering a settlement program for goodness sakes! Your credit will be affected anyways! Why not give it a try.

that is how I feel I am trying Ram, I will keep you posted to see how things go. Like you said I am going with a settlement company not to mention my credit score is awful now, I have been happy so far, I am hoping so we will see.

settlement company was the answer to my prayers! I was so happy with the end result. I think alot of people just dont know what to expect and when things go bad, they were a horrible company. I know there are alot of scammy places out there, but the good ones will tell you exactly what could happen and to be prepared. But usually If you choose the quickest payment plan and get it done fast you wont get sued. But i wouldnt worry about your credit at this point. It will come back i promise!

Love my things is exactly right. Settlement is a great process and does work; just know exactly the in ands out, pros and cons, good and bad, etc, etc, and if you can afford a quick payback program, do it.
