I have a question about debt validation after 30 days from the original letter. From what I have read here after 30 days they are not required to validate the debt, so does that mean i have to wait for them to sue me to get the validation in discovery, or if I send the letter after the 30 days do they have to respond. Just trying to get all my ducks in a row here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It means they don't have to stop collection activity, but you are still owed the validation. Basically if you send it after the 30 days you are quite within the law to withhold any payment until they provide you with proper validation. If they sue you, you can then just ask for it during discovery and show the judge that you were simply waiting for them to validate the account.

Some states have laws that require them to validate no matter when you send it, within 30 days or any number of years beyond. Texas is one, I am not sure about the others.
