I've already made them severla payment of over $200. Stupid me i should have researched them first! But now I am having difficulties paying them and cancelled my checks. Now they are saying they are going to turn me over to a lawyer.

Is it too late to due as advised here and send them letters of validation?

You can always ask for validation, it is your right. Especially if they pressured you into making the payment arrangement and I am betting that is exactly what they did.

You simply tell them that it is your right to this information and if they want to see any more money, they will comply, that they might as well do so now, otherwise if they sue you you will simply demand the information in court, where they will be forced to comply.
