Can a credit card refuse to settle a debt because of a prior payment made toward property taxes?
I realize you can't do a settlement with student loans, and tax liens but wondering if you made a payment on a credit card that is now deliquent that you are now trying to include in a debt settlement, will that be an issue or is debt basically debt?

Should not be an issue - debt/payment to the government has been satisfied and debt's not attached to property.
