How about this one? It's not even my loan/credit, my name isn't on any of the notes that these collectors keep harrassing me about, but for some reason my phone number is used as a reference. What can I do about this?

i would ask the name of the person who gave your name as a reference.there are a lot of scams going around.i would tell them to contact that person first and leave you alone.

more than likely shazz,but they should be given a name of the person who gave there name.it sounds like the OP is being hassled without being told the person's name who gave there's as a reference.at least it sounds that way.
