Letters from Emerald and Shamrock

I emailed both Emerald and Shamrock and told them I would not resind anything until they sent me a PIF letter. Have not heard back from them yet.

I'm so glad I found you all. You've helped me take a situation that I felt I had no control over and given me back the control of my life. Thanks to all who post here.

Can anyone help with my original question? I need some help deciding whether to take their offer or wait for a PIF letter that I requested. Thanks.

I would hold out for the PIF. Is sounds like they are give you that but not actually stating it but then want you to show the complaint as resolved.

Get the PIF then amend the complaint.

agreed nohiogal,get the PIF.they can state account closed all they want.they can still sell it on that status.get the PIF in writing,then amend your complaint.

Thanks all. Got the PIF letters a few minutes ago. Will take care of the complaints I filed now. I love this site.!!!! It has been so helpful. Now, hopefully I will hear from the other umpteen PDL's that I have. But, today I feel much better getting these two out of the way. Have a good one.

I received PIF letters from ameriloan, Emerald and Shamrock. I've made payment arrangments with the storefronts. I have not heard back after I sent my C&D letter to United. They sent me the original loan docs but none of the other information I requested (such as finance charges I have paid etc.) What should I do if I don't hear from them? Just keep bugging em. Also, a collection company AIS has my Cash Net USA and Cash Supply accounts in their office. I contacted by companies to find out how much I have paid them and they said they were unable to give the info as it had been sent to the collection co. The collection co. says they don't have that info - imagine!!!! What do you think I should do next?

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the information out of Cash Net USA and Cash Supply? Guess I'll send the C&D letters and have them do it that way. By the way, two of my store front loans have gone to collections. I called both of them to get payment arrangements set up via money gram because I don't want them to have my account info. Neither one is being cooperative. I have addresses for both of these collection companies. Do you think it would be okay for me to just send them payments and get them paid off that way. I ended up hanging up on both of them and I want to make good on the legal store fronts in my area. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry I missed the end of your post with the info on DV and and C & D letters.

I have sent C&D letters to all the rest of my PDL's and have not heard from them. I've gotten PIF from Emerald, Shamrock and Ameriloan. I went back and calculated all the payments to each of them and of course have overpaid them with the exception of one which I intend to pay (the principal of course). Should I follow up with more correspondence. If so, is there a specific letter you have that I could use. Any help is appreciated. I would not have come this far without this site.

How long should I wait to hear from my other online PDL's? Right now, I'm sending them the C&D letters on a weekly basis with the same information. What is my next step if I don't hear from them?

They may wait a while. As long as your bank account is closed or secure I would not worry about.
