I just got a copy of WebPayday's response to the BBB of Houston, TX. They talk all about their license in Utah and that because they encourage reading all terms and they don't think I would have taken out a loan that I believe to be illegal, they disagree with my assertation that all I owe them is the 425 they originally gave me. Is this a bunch of snow?

Oh I'd love to know how I'm supposed to read the terms of a contract I never had to read in the first place.

(I live in Texas)

Yup, all a bunch of baloney! One thing, they admitted to you that they were licensed in Utah, which means they lent to you illegally! A pdl MUST be licensed in the state of Texas to lend to Texas residents! Tell them to put that in their pipe and smoke it! You now have IN WRITING they are licensed in Utah, tell them you intend on passing that information along to the FTC! :D
