Im living in UK at present for less than 2 years apparently I've been declined for a loan due to this fact. What should you think is appropriate for me to do?

Hi Enrico

There may be various reasons about your loan application not being approved. The lenders actually view your credit file and see if you have been financially efficient in the past while paying your debt. They also compare your present financial status and ensure whether you will be able to make the payments regularly.

If you have past dues, pay off your bills first. This will be the most important step to improve your file. Also, take a loan according to your monthly income. If the loan amount is huge, you will have to increase your monthly income. The lenders want to assure themselves that you will be capable of paying back the loan amount.
