I wrote a letter a couple of weeks ago asking Experian to tell me who they talked to at the CA when they verified my dispute. They sent me back this obvious form letter saying they already investigated the claim and verified it's accuracy. The truth is that on this account I was an autohorized user. I had this card back in 2002 (returned card to it's owner in 6/2004) the CA has me as the primary and a date of 5/2008 (when I first heard of this ) as when the account was opened. What responsibility does Experian have when you write them and tell them your story, and all you are asking them to do is ask for some verification from the CA other than (as experian says in their letter) we ask the source to check their records to verify all the information regarding the item questioned, and report back within 30 days. Well my question is , what if the CA is lying? who checks on them to make sure that they are telling the truth? Also they never told me who they talked to. If Experian just asked to see the original application they would see it's not my name on it. It seems that Experian isn't doing their job. Also I DV the Ca some 50 days ago and have not heard from them. Please tell me if I'm going about this the right way. Thank you in advace.

They gave you the boiler plate response to a MOV request. EX generally needs a little nudge, in the form of an ITS or a summons in order to comply.

They will never even likely speak to anyone since everything is done via eOscar. They are not required to ask for an original app and it's doubtful that the CA even has it. Do you have an old credit report that shows the tradeline as an Authorized User Account?
