I am trying to type of my letters to stop the ACH draft. I know on one of the threads/posts there is an example of wording to use if you want the payments already paid to be considered paid in full and a refund of any overpayments made given back to you.

I need help in making sure I word it correctly to get the best results and I couldn't locate that thread/post. I know there are several people who have had success in getting refund and would like to have any suggestions.

Thanks!

I hereby revoke any and all ACH authorizations with your company from debiting any of my personal accounts, per Federal law, Regulation E Section 205.10 Preauthorized transfers. I have closed my account with the XXXXXXXX Bank to protect my interest in this matter. I also revoke any and all wage assignments I may or may not have signed with your company, I no longer authorize you, your company, or your affiliates to attach any part of my wages or contact my employer for your collection purposes. I have notified my employer about this matter so any attempts to do so on your part will be rejected.

Having trouble finding stuff cause I am on a time restraint, I am getting ready to go somewhere so...... here are some ideas off the top of my head:

Based on my governing law, your company overcharged me by XXX amount of dollars. I am demanding a refund in the amount of $XXXX, this will place you within the legal guidelines of my state laws. If I do not hear from you within 5 days, I will be forced to contact the Attorney General's Office in the state your business resides to file a complaint against you for unlawful business practices.

Make sure you always use the word "demand" instead of request.
