I was a co signer for an auto loan and the primary person on the loan went bankrupt. This happened about four years ago. I have not received any phone calls or letters in regards to this matter until this past week. I received a call from a company called National Action Financial Services the phone number is 800-697-4901. I have followed up on it through the internet and I have heard many bad things about this company. So I was to see what you thought?

You need to send them a debt validation letter with a cease communication paragraph. This will stop the calls and force them to prove the debt is yours for the amount and other points. A template can be found by clicking the do it yourself link above and clicking sample letters. Check for the statute of limitations in your state also. It would start at the date of the last payment made.
