If I live in Florida and I got a payday loan online and can't pay it back can they pursue criminal action

Not criminal, but they can take civil action.

Can you tell us the name of the PDL? Was it internet or store front? and how much the loan was for and how much you have paid back?

If it was an illegal lender you will only owe the principle that you borrowed.
