PLEASE TELL ME WHY I WAS CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED FOR NOT PAYING MY PAYDAY LOAN? THE COMPANY NAME WAS QUICK CASH AND THEY HAD LOCAL D.A. FILE CHARGES HERE IN CALIFORNIA. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIGHT THIS. MY LIVELY HOOD IS AT STAKE. I HAVE CONTACTED MANY STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES BUT I HAVE NOT GOT ANY RESPONSE AS OF YET. I WANT TO GET AN ATTORNEY TO CONTEST THIS BUT I CAN NOT AFFORD ONE. I THOUGHT DEBTORS PRISON WAS OUTLAW'D IN 19TH CENTURY.

Criminal Action is prohibited in CA. If you are being taken to court it is most likely for a civil judgment.

In checking the California database, there are several companies with a DBA of this name and a business license, so the company could very poss be a storefront--but again, the worst that can happen per our state laws is going to Small Claims court and mediation. NO criminal prosecution. Could the collectors be coming out to play here?
