i've been searching around here and have found alot of help, but no really solid answer...

this is my first time dealing with a CA and i have a small debt(600 or so) to a collection agency that i will be paying off in 3 smaller payments...now my question is...a check from my personal checking account...is it safe to send?

i would do a western union check, but also heard the tracking can be a real PITA,and it would cost me another 15 bucks per transaction... but also heard some stories about them having your banking info

thanks!

that's right nascar.giving a check is giving your bank info.use the methods described by nascar.

the prepaid card is a good idea..

but i was going to pay in the next few days, im sure that stuff will take a few days to process??

but for this payment...western union MO would be a sufficient form of payment, right?

i have their "quick collect" address..

do you have there physical address.i still would rather send a MO priority mail than western union or moneygram.it gets there quick and still might be cheaper.plus you can stop payment if the CA goes back on your agreement.you can't do that with western union or mnoeygram.
