about 11 years ago my ex- husband and I bought some encyclopedias , after we placed the order we had 48 hours to cancel sell which we did because we found out I was pregnant, well they still send the books anyway so about a year later my ex filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy and the were notified of the matter and ask how much was owed so they could be included in this ,they informed the lawyer that they had worte it off because of the mis understanding which we never received all the books, however once the bankruptcy was up they have been harrassing me for the money know which is $3,000.00 I receive phone calls letters just threating me and I was wandering if I should just get a lawyer or file Bamkruptcy myself to get them off my back.
What state do you live in? Was this included in the BK? Likely
What state do you live in? Was this included in the BK? Likely this is beyond the SOL for legal action (tell you for sure once you provide your state). If so, I would send them a FOAD letter and be done with it.

I live in the state of Ohio!! and no it wasnt included in the bankruptcy they told the lawyer that they wrote it off and we owed nothing!! this all started in 1996..
