CA's selling disputed accounts to other CA's

Doing a little research, I found that they can't do that, without telling the purchaser it is a disputed debt. That is fraud.
A search for, michbar.org newsletter consumer law april 2008 , will bring up a PDF that has a LOT of useful info for the violation of the fdcpa rule.

No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying they can't sell an already disputed account w/o stating to the purchaser that it IS a disputed account.
At least that is how I read it.

that happens to me all the time, i send a debt validation they go away and someone else pops up six months later.. it is always disputed though.
