Hi,
I've closed my bank account and am in the process of fielding calls from 3 different lenders. From what I can tell 2 of the three are legal in TX where I live.

Can anyone tell me how, if I can, keep them from calling me at work. They've called a few times already and if it gets back to my boss - well it could be bad. I've sent emails requesting mailing addresses and itemizations of my account to each of the companies.

I've stopped the cycle and I'm getting frustrated trying to get each of these accoutns resolved, any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
Cashnetusa - paid 500 on 750 initially borrowed
Webpayday - paid 375 on 750 initially borrowed
cashadvancenetworks - over 1000 paid and I still haven't found what the initial loan, I've gone back 7 months in my statements.

Thanks again,
Mike

Webpayday is illegal. I think CashAdvanceNetwork is too. I think they are part of MTE.

Hopefully someone can confirm that.

As for your work, what others have done is explain thay have been a victim of fraud. That you and your bank are dealing with it and your bank account is frozen and these illegal collections are trying to contact you.

Thanks for the responses! I've gotten a settlement offer from CashnetUSA and I countered and they came back with the same offer yesterday. Considering it.

I've gotten no response to multiple emails and requesting account information and a mailing address from cashadvancenetwork and webpayday but...i got a from the collection department at webpayday, the woman was as slippery as she could be - she initially told me that they don't accept payments by mail, then I explained that i closed my bank account and she said they have a mailing address but couldn't give it to me, finally she gave up a p.o. box in houston. but no account info - my loan was initially 750 and they want 1520 for the principal plus a 375 fee on 1/30 that bounced off my closed account and then another 375 fee for ?this month's fee? !!! I can't imagine that I'll pay double the principal on a loan that I renewed for 750 on 12/8. especially since I did pay 375 on 12/30!

I got an email from cashadvance network saying that I had a zero balance - one line in response to my request for account information. That may be nice but i want to make sure that I'm emailing the right company. I've been getting debits on my old accoutn for months and I still can't find any emails from cashadvance network with my origrinal loan terms. so if i actually am done with them, terriffic. but since they won't give me any account info at this point, I'm not really sure if I should be celebrating at this point.

i'd like to send a letter to webpayday and cashadvance networks but was wondering if there is any downside to using the form letter language that they are illegal if i'mn not 100% sure of their legal status in TX. I've heard that webpayday is a legal cso and I'm not sure what that means.

Any additional help? I'm rolling but I'm not sure what to do next!

Thanks,
Mike
