what happens if my employer doesn't garnish my wages

so i was wondering what would happen if my employer doesn't garnish my wages...my social security number has been used in fraud...and these loan people don't believe me without proof...my employer is a good friend of mine and he doesn't deem it fair for them to take money that i don't owe...what trouble can he get into?

Depending on the type of debt, I suppose the employer could be held in contempt of court. With student loans I know there are big fines.

these pdl's will try to push wage assignments through.if that's the case then he doesn't have to honor it.if it is a court ordered garnishment then he will be breaking the law in not honoring that.i doubt any of these places will be able to legaly garnish.
