Can Illegal unlicensed companies file a civil suit?

I was wondering if the Illegal non licensed companies can take me to court and file a suit to garnish my wages? I plan on paying them the principal that I still owe eventually but only after I get my legal PDLs paid off first.. In the meantime I don't want the illegal ones trying to sue me! I'm in Texas and they're all online loans.

Oh that's good to know. Thank you very much! I will just put them on the back burner for a couple of months then while I get my affairs straightened out with the legal PDL's that I have. It turns out I only owe most of the illegal companies less than $100 anyway because of all the fees I've paid in. I guess I won't be answering any calls for awhile!

timothyly, make sure you do do a wage assignment revoke though.

timothyly, make sure you do do a wage assignment revoke though. They will more than likely try that.. then try and get a legal garnishment. (just to cover your butt)

Some companies are super quick about turning in the wage assignment. I know CTC did it do me and I was fighting with my payroll person for a week before he would give me back my money.
