Garnishments

My boyfriend just recently had a garnishment taken out of his paycheck. He has that plus child support being deducted. My question is how can we get the garnishment reduced since the amount that is being taken out is leaving us unable to pay monthly bills including rent and utilities?

Its a loan company. He was buying a car and due to circumstances
Its a loan company. He was buying a car and due to circumstances he let them repo it. There was a judgement against him. He never knew he had to go to court. They never sent him anything concerning a court date.
