If it is wells fargo calling, they can call as much as they want...they are not subject to FDCPA.

I stopped WELLS FARGO numerous calls
I simply sent them a letter and told them that if they continued with their numerous calls, that they would be charged with harassment, and that I intended to file suit in Federal Court. Heck, they were calling me 10-20 times each day.

Hope you didnt waste a stamp. You screening a call is not harassment. If they repeated called you and spoke to you numerous times in a day or left multiple messages, maybe.
Stamp not wasted, SOAPLADY
It's been several months, and not a call from WELLS FARGO since they received my certified letter. I SIMPLY WILL NOT TOLERATE HARASSMENT FROM ANYONE

Well, about 30 days after my mortgage at Wells Fargo went unpaid, they put us on the call every hour plan. My wife was so upset, because she answered every call while I was at work, and they just kept calling. The next day I called them back, told them that there was no need to call us 10 times a day, that I was happy to talk to them periodically, but not several times a day... after that, they only call about 1-2 times a week.
All and all, so far dealing with Wells Fargo hasn't been bad. They're courteous to me, and I am to them. My story/situation hasn't changed, so the calls have gotten a little shorter since they have most everything in their notes now. But it did take a number of calls before I felt like they had my entire situation documented properly, not that I think it will ultimately make a difference since they are going to foreclose.
