You can try to contact these cc companies and try to make a settlement, Which could cut the debt by upto 40% but you would have to pay larger amounts but would pay it off within a few years. If you cannot afford this for any reason such as lack of work. You may be looking at a BK but that is always a last resort thing as it will ruin your credit for 7 years. definately need a little more information about the situation. we would need to know this information to be able to direct to you what would be the best option for you. if you have a job and can afford a consolidation payment that may be best but if you can see something comming up were you will have a loss of income like illness, job loss, whatever settlement is best but if all that fails bk may be your only option. but we would need to know more!
