From what I seen it is N/R/A/ AKA National Recovery Agency. They are a bunch of morons. If they contact you by phone, answer it only validate your name and address but make them tell you what it is, don't give it to them unless you want to. Then tell them they have 5 days to send something in writing and see what they say. After that hang up and wait. If you get something in writing, send a debt validation letter.
I helped a friend with is credit report because this company was on there. They deleted the entry on trans-union but verified it for Experian, Equifax we are still waiting on. So I disputed Experian again for him and called the company. I asked them what information they had, gave his address, name and file number. They had no information on him. So I went off on the lady and told her that they verify the account with Experian but you have no information in the computer. I told her it is a violation of the FCRA and the FDCPA. I told them if they verify it again He will be filing a lawsuit against them. She got cocky and said that she didn't know what I was talking about and she had no information with that account and name and I couldn't sue over something they didn't have, lol. She kept telling me it's a metaphor, blah blah blah and she then said , I am hanging up on you and I told her good F U!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously they are morons and have no clue. They called him before I disputed it with his credit reports asking him to pay. He asked for what it was and they said it was for a gas card and the last time he paid was in 1998, what a joke the SOL in my state is 6 years and they also re-aged the debt to put it on his credit report longer, They put the date of delinquency as 5-2007.
