What state are you in? Is checksmart a member of the CFSA? Have you defaulted on that loan yet?

By the way, I am moving this topic to the payday loan section so more people will see it.

There are several companies by the name of Checksmart, please provide your state, amount borrowed and amount owed. As Shazzers stated we need this information in order to assist you.

I live in Arizona

Buckeye Checksmart borrowed 350 paid 61.25 in interest every 2 weeks for about a year....still owe the whole 350.

Loan Mart borrowed 500 and paid 87.50in interest every 2 weeks for about 3 years. still owe 500.

Checkmate borrowed 500 and paid 87.50 in interest every 2 weeks forabout 2 years. still owe 500.

I defaulted on all 3 and they are all storefront.

What should I do?????

the man fron buckeye checksmart is a very rude, nasty man. i talked to him again today. i was threatened with court. told him good go ahead and he started yelling at me over phone. (i was at work) he was yelling so loud my co-workers could hear him and i'm not really sure of all he was saying. my daughter grabbed the phone, told him this was harrassment and i would be contacting a lawyer.....he hung up on her.

i guess i just wait.....for what i don't know
