Quote,
Please be advised that your original loan packet has been emailed. Please review the "Governing Law" section on the Loan Note and Disclosure. The copy and paste you have found on the internet is referring to check deferment lenders. We are also sending the lender's payment options.

Still doesn't disregard the fact that they are still illegal. Right?
I have two other prior e-mails I could copy and paste to you also. Please walk me through this. They are deceitful and tricky and will try to use tactics I don't know about. I am counting on experienced guidance from DebtConsolodationCare and will no way hold you all responsible unless it is good news and will give you all the credit.

Check the licenses of the payday loan companies. Illegal companies can't legally claim debt.

I do not find OSL Marketing on the KY lenders database and on top of that internet payday loans are illegal in Kentucky.
From the regulators website.
What is a payday loan?
A payday loan, also called a deferred deposit, is issued when a financial institution (a payday lender or check casher) agrees to provide cash in the amount of the customer???s next expected payroll check for a fee. These short-term loans are required by state law to be paid in full before another one can be issued, and customers may only have one payday loan at a time. Internet payday lenders are not regulated in the state of Kentucky and are therefore illegal.
Copy and paste that in yout reponse to them. I am sure they are trying to pull a fast one.
They claim the law is in regards to "check deferment lenders". That is not true. Check deferment lenders are allowed and are the store front lenders. They take your check and hold it for X amount of days until you pay the loan back plus a fee.
Again I would copy and paste that quote and ask them what "KENTUCKY lending law" they think they fall under.

Don't email them, most states do NOT recognize emails as anything. Use the United States Post office and send them Certified/Return Receipt letter demanding proof of the debt.
Most lenders now know that most courts don't recognize email as legitimate contact due to the many ways emails can be changed and fraud can occur.
Use the old post office method......it let's them know you are serious and that once you have the return receipt, it proves they received your letter for demand of proof of the debt and they have "x" number of days to reply.

Most courts to not recognize "emails" as valid means of communication. Please use USPS (post office), UPS, FedEx, etc only to communicate and send it return receipt requested.
That way if and when it comes back on you, you have proof thru the USPS certified/return receipt requested that they either did receive it or never picked up your letter for demand of proof of the debt.
Emails are too easily changed and forged to be admissable in most courts.

Well, first of all, do you really think an illegal company is going to walk into a court room, nah. Therefore I say an email is sufficient, not to mention quicker, and just as effective as sending something via USPS.

Point taken shazzers, but I figure it is best to be safe then sorry and just send it via USPS and that way they also know you know your rights.
Why argue back and forth with them via email or give them your email account? That is just what I would do, thus my advice.
