If your state's licensee database shows them to be unlicensed and therefore lending illegally in your state, you need to stop waiting and go directly to your state's governmental authority to file a complaint against this company, and then go to your bank and discuss this matter with them. Your bank will know the best way to stop the debits from your account.

Paulmergel's right. Not much they can do but threaten. The trick with ipdl's is to out last them. Eventually the calls stop. Only a few will even put it on a credit report, let alone take more serious action against you. Too risky for them.

After I sent emails back and forth demanding proof that they were liscensed to sell
After email tag demanding they provide proof of a liscense of any sort to conduct business in va, they kept emailing to call the collections dept.? I remained firm, requested a corporate compliance officers name? for my report to the State Attorney General. Haven't heard anything since. How long do the PDL normally wait after the account is closed before they start making a fuss? It has been 2 pay periods and other than some rather mild emails, I have heard zip.
