I live in illinois and here is a list of my nightmare:

US fast cash (internet): 300

United Cash Loans (net): 200

Payment Direct 1 Debt (net): 300

Sagamore BB (net): 300

VC Funding (net): 200

Ace Cash (net): 300

NLS Cash Advance (net): 250

PayDay One (net): 750

The Cash Store (store front) installment 1,000 (I know this is legal)

Any help is so appreciated.

CLICK HERE to view your payday lender laws. Illinois requires Internet based pdl's to be licensed by your state. I know for sure that Payday One is legal so you will need to make arrangements with them. I would also go to the store front BEFORE you default, at least one day prior to your next payment, request the EPP (extended payment plan), if they are members of the CFSA they are required to allow you the EPP plan. Usually there is a plaque or notice hanging somewhere in the store if they are members, or, you could call them and ask if they are members. Looks like you have a few illegal lenders, I will need to do some checking first before I will know for sure. Unless someone else comes along and answers this first, I will be researching the other companies. We still need the info that SUEBEEHONEY70 requested in order to assist you. :)

Ace is the only one on your whole list that has a license anywhere. US Fast Cash and United Cash are supposedly run by Indian tribes and can't be touched by your attorney general. I know someone posted a big long letter that he thinks proves that wrong but consider this. An appeals court in California told the California regulators they can't enforce their laws against them, Besides is it a good idea to take legal advice from a bunch of people with cute screen names and no liability if they're wrong?

I'm no stupid person, Arizona is full of Tribal land, and we all know what happens. However, the other post about the arbitration is valid and I have asked my Attorney General's office whether this is true and yes, they loose their tribal immunity, and thus would have to follow the Arizona laws.

Also, we are not so stupid to fully take the advise from the moderators, it is a guide for us to follow and to be able to learn our rights and who we can further contact.

Unlike you, "GUEST" they don't hide and have never once advised anyone to not pay their principal amounts borrowed. They are just giving us a means to know that we have rights in terms of everything else.

Please stay off the threads spreading your hate, we don't want to read it.

As a member, this is a place for all of us to support each other and help each other get out of the vicious cycle of payday loans that are illegal.
