I live in Indiana, I have been reading up about help with PDL's on this site. I currently have 2 internet PDL's and one store front PDL.

The internet one's are:
Fast Money 911: $650 ($500-loan/$150-fee) Paid $300
My Cash Now: $447.76 ($350-loan/$97.76-fee) Havent paid on it yet, due Feb. 27

I am reducing the store front one and am not worried about it as of now. The two internet one's are the one I am worried about.
I talked to Customer Service at my bank and they refuse to do a hard ACH lock on my account. They told me they don't do that. I am not sure what to do now. I also need to know if these two internet PDL's are illegal in the state of Indiana so I can go from there. I am going to my bank in the morning to talk to the branch manager. My bank is not being very helpful so I am worried that I am out of luck. I need help with this. My money is slipping out of my hands and I don't know where else to turn.

Talk to your branch manager.. not CS.

Also please get your letters written up and sent Revoking the pdl authorization, once those are done, they HAVE to follow it, both PDL and Banks, but considering the two internet lenders are illegal, fat chance of them honoring it However, here's where you have the upper hand with the bank. They have to honor it, it's law. It's called Electronic funds transfer act

CMRRR=certified mail return receipt requested.beli is right.speak to the manager about the debit block.the drones won't or can't help you there.the manager should be able to do that for you.

Ok, so I went to my bank talked to the branch manager and the ach handler and they told me that internet PDL's are NOT illegal. Because I signed a contract with the PDL's it makes it a legal transaction. I tried to explain that Indiana laws state that they are indeed illegal, and she argued that they are not and she knows because she has taken classes on the very subject. She also said that whoever was giving me banking advice shouldnt because they are dead wrong. I almost wanted to start laughing, then she tells me there is no way they can put a hard lock on my checking account. She told me the only thing they can do is close my current account and open a new one, with a paper that I fill out that allows only the companies I write down to be allowed to ach my account. I then asked if the old account would be forced open if ach's tried to be taken out and she said no. So this is where I am at in my PDL situation. I am sending letters to the PDL's tomorrow. I can't believe my bank, seriously. But at least I am getting closer to having this resolved. I know for a fact I will never!!! get any PDL ever again! Thanks again.

on another note.i would seriously consider switching banks.i would also report this manager to a corporate or regional manager.she is so wrong it's not funny.again, once your account is secure.close it and open a new one...at a different bank.that's what i would do.
