I need some current help in dealing with Eastside Lenders.

I saw that there is some past information, but most of it is old.

I live in Arizona and took out two loans with them. 1st loan for $300 paid $975, was closed and PIF status. I immediately took out another loan with them $600 and have paid $540 on the loan. My last payment to them was 1-16-09, as that is the time I found this forum and found a way out from underneath the PDL trap.

I immediately revoked my ACH authorization and all wage assignments. I went to my bank (compass bank which has been awesome) and put a hard debit freeze on the account for fraud since the ACH authorizations were still comiing through.

I received an email from Eastside 14 days after ACH revokation that states they tried to debit my account for the full $805 due according to my loan agreement and that it was returned unpaid by my bank (yeah, bank is doing something right).

I have overpaid principal on the two loans by $615. I asked them in my letter to mark my current loan PIF and requested the refund of $615.

They are not honoring the debit revokation and claiming that they are located in Deleware.

I have spoken to our Arizona Department of Financial Institutions which actually states that if an internet company is illegal, they actually have no rights to collect on any of the loan, not even the principal.

I will payback the principal, but feel that I have done so with the two loans and my overpayment.

Has anyone out there had any current experience with Eastside Lenders or have any additional advise for me on how to proceed.

I am lucky in the Compass Bank will not under any circumstances let any of these scum bags debit my account and I have opened another account with another bank for which NOBODY will ever get that information.

Thanks and sorry this is so long. I am just at my wits end!

Thanks, they also have an address in Deleware and under the license has another name of InCorp Services, Inc One Commerce Center, 1201 Orange Street, #600, Wilmington, DE 19899

I guess I'll send a certified letter to both addresses? I was reading on another old post that anything sent gets returned

They are calling daily and sending daily emails.

I just want them to stop!

I have been sending my stuff via email but I just received a call today that they will send me to 3rd party collections. I told her I would like the Arizona License # and they keep trying to use the whole Delewar law crap. Told them to shove it, and that I would file a complaint with the Arizona Dept. of Financial Institutions.

I don't know what else to do, please help!

I can't afford more negative things on my credit report

Personally I would not give Eastside Lenders another thought and if they turn you over to a CA they most likely will be illegal and not licensed. Illegal PDL's use unlicensed CA's. I had a loan with them and I still owe them $30 however I have not heard one work from them. I like you tried to communicate with them to complete payment of the principal balance but they would not work with me so I stopped trying. This was back in October and still no word.

Thanks, I only owe $60 on this last loan but have overpaid them on a previous loan by almost $975 I will try and let it go, just they are calling my HR department then being blind transfered to my desk at work. I am in customer service, so I can't just not ever answer my phone, and the calls come through as if they are HR until after I pickup.

I'm just frustrated in dealing with them.
