What state are you located in? You say the lender is located in Utah but do you live there as well? Maybe I just missed something.

I live in Minnesota. I have closed my account per what has been said here. I have not paid them yet as a payment is due on the 6 of march. I am trying to handle this one on my own and would love your guys help. I know i have to pay them because i browed the money i get that. I am just scard on how they are going to come after me. I get my tax refund on the 27th of this month and i am sending them 300. I know minnesota law as changed so they have to be lic. in minnesota i just dont know if this company goes by something else or what because on there web page it says that if you need to complaine you can can the utah or any state that your in. I only want to pay them 300 if there illegal

the web sit is getecash com the phone number i have is 1-801-717-1550. thats it. I got an email from the saying that they where going to put 300.00 in my account and that was it.

I can't find anything on this company other than their website.

Did they deposit the $300? I hope not you do not want to do business with a company that you cannot find and please re-consider taking a payday loan. If they deposit the money, have your bank return it.

I am going to say they are probably illegal. Go to the sticky at the top of this forum about dealing with illegal lenders.

Its a company of loan point in utah they are lic. so do i just set up payment planes with them?

I am dealing with this company, too, though I don't think they're part of Loan Point USA. I believe getecash is in Orem, UT and Loan Point USA seems to be in Salt Lake City. getecash seems to be a pretty recent PDL company to pop up on the internet.

I did a pretty good search before and could not find much. Either they are new or they are under a larger PDL.

I knew I should have been suspicious when I suggested an extended repayment plan under my state's laws and they said sure, but with their plan I would have ended up paying almost $400 more than the principal. I'm glad I did my research here. I guess that was something useful to come out of a sleepless night worrying about how I was going to pay these sharks and pay my real bills.

MN does have a policy now. Lenders have to be licensed in MN to legally lend.

The company you listed is not on the list of legal lenders.

MN also has CSO that require a license and they are not on that list either.

I show getecash as a dba from loanpointe. Loanpointe is different from loanpoint usa. They are registered with Utah Department of Financial Institutes.

Not loanpointe, it is eastbrook dba ecash. That is the address and phone number that someone else listed. So in the UDFI the are listed under eastbrook dba ecash

that's fine,but i almost guarantee in states that require a license in that state.they won't have one.example:i'm in IL.neither of these places is licensed to lend in my state.that is my point.

Actually I work for the company and it is legit we go by Utah Laws we don't fund in Utah only out of state and if you guys actually read the contract than you would know more about it, that's what you get when you don't read is ignorant people who make up lies about companies realize this its very important when taking a loan, buying a car, and etc to read the contract to know what you are getting yourself into. Making up lies just means you weren't smart enough to read the contract from the beginning.

I also used to work at GetECash and I know that they are not following the license agreements per state. Their Utah license is not valid for payday loans over the internet to people in other states, just because it's written in a contract doesn't make it legally allowed.
