I filed for Bankruptcy and my discharge was 1/09 . Cash Net USA was the information and no further calls receivd from them . They have been calling my parents home claiming they are a special investigator and have I received a supeona ? I stated no , but they were on my bankruptcy . Now they stated they -meaning Cash Net USA is filing criminal charges against me and my bankruptcy doesnt cover that . Are they able to do that . He stated he wasnt asking for any money and the call ended

Are you sure it is Cashnet Calling or could it be they turned you over to a CA prior to your filing and it is the CA calling? Cashnet USA is a legal legitimate lender and I dont think they would behave like this but I could be wrong. If you have your discharge papers I would contact Cashnet USA and inform them that a collector on their behalf is contacting you and breaking the law. If Cashnet sold the debt to them they should be able to fix it. They may say they cannot help you but I feel they will contact the CA and inform them they were included in a BK. Good luck and Keep us posted.

Im sorry it s a CA called legal jurisdiction . I have explained this was on my nakruptcy . They told me to have no weapons at the house and someone here to watch my kids when they take me to jail . I have filed a complaint with FTC . although they refused to give the address i looked it up :)

Well I bet they are not even licensed to collect in your state and obviously by their behavior they are illegal. The next time they call you tell them you are recording their call and that they are in violation of US Bankruptcy Laws. Did you use an attorney for your filing? Will the attorneys office write a letter on your behalf? I am still going to say if you contact Cashnet at their corporate level and explain all of this to them they can make this stop. As a legal company they do not want to be involved in this type of harassment. I would tell them you are holding them accountable for the actions of their debt collector and fax them your discharge papers.

i would first call the trustee and the BK court.then i would inform CASHNET of this.nohiogal is correct.they can't legally contact you.if this scum eating CA doesn't stop.CASHNET is in big trouble.when they call again i would give them the old FOAD and hang up,or look up your state laws as per recording calls.it's your choice.
