also a big thank you to all the advisors on this site who helped me with payday loan crap...that was easily the biggest and most stressful mistake i ever made. i had 5 of those ... 3 are gone now, and i have 2 still in collections, one of which i'm paying off fine and the other still in dispute, though i'm confident it will work out. i hope a lot of other people get good advice from this site and realize that no matter how grim it seems it's possible to get through it. if you do, help other people from making the same mistakes.

The CMRRR receipts are attached to the letter/envelope until after you sign for it....once you sign, then it is detached. CA's can argue all they like but the signature is proof it has been received. Those signature cards do hold up in court.

Sent Via Certified Mail Receipt # xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
That way there is no way it can be confused with anything else

Every time I go to the post office, I grab a few of the green cards and the certified slips so I have the number handy when I type up the DV. Saves time and I have the number for my records stored on a jump drive.
