I think that it was a call from some collection agency claiming some outstanding debt. You need not worry about their threatening because they can do nothing unless they sue you to the court and bring judgment against you. If you get summon from the court regarding the debt, file a response to it and then demand a debt validation from the CA that sued you. However, if they continue to disturb you over phone, file a complain with the FTC.
